There is a prophecy that one day, a great doom shall fall upon this land. The mountains will tremble, the seas will run dry and the skies will burn with the anguish of all life. But the prophecy also speaks of hope, of a great hero wielding a Shining Emblem and restoring balance to our world. The time of prophecy is nigh and that hero....is YOU!

This is the Saga of the Shining Emblem, a one-of-a-kind Improvised story-telling experience, heavily influenced by the Role Playing greats of old. Each performance, one lucky audience member is chosen to be The Hero. They are then guided through an adventure by one actor serving as narrator and all other NPCs they encounter on their journey. Their quest? To find the Shining Emblem, an object of unlimited power capable of granting any wish. How they find it (or if they even bother to quest at all) is totally up to them! Its an unbelievable, unforgettable, unimaginable adventure all made up on the spot! All set to a live score!

June is Pride Month! That means The Saga of the Shining Emblem will feature an all-star line-up of queer performers, all to raise money for the Trevor Project!

Sometimes wistful, sometimes rocking, always captivating. Awful Christine ( @awfulchristine ) are an up-and-coming four piece with song writing chops beyond their years. Their dynamism leads to shifting alt rock epics that ebb and flow as often as they jolt and shock. Finally, Nonsense ( @nonsenseintl ) take on the role of the wild card for the evening. Toby Chernesky and DJ Guilty Pleasures are excited to produce their third event in their video game series with Wonderville! Toby Chernesky, a recent NYU graduate, is a singer, producer, and actor known for his work in the NYC cabaret scene. His most notable shows include “A Gay’s Dream: Broadway’s Leading Ladies with a Gender-Bent Twist!” at 54 Below in February, as well as “The LGBTQ+ Lifeline” at The Green Room 42 in August, a fundraiser cabaret that raised over $2000 for the Trevor Project. In drag, he is up-and-coming NYC drag-thing Toast (a.ka. Toby Chernesky), known for their creative, community-driven themed shows and powerhouse falsetto vocals! DJ Guilty Pleasures is an NYC-based DJ, known for his sickening house mixes and his frequent work at The Ritz Bar & Lounge in Manhattan. He has recently worked with Frankie Grande for his album release party and the Broadway production of Death Becomes Her cast recording release party.

Unregistered HyperCam is a stand-up/storytelling show featuring comedians discussing a beautifully obscure, strange, or otherwise culturally remarkable piece of media from the early 2000s. Essentially, show-and-tell themed around all the amateur, obscure, wonderfully low-res content that made the early(ish) internet so fun and silly (plus a 2000s DJ set afterwards!)

Hey slime bag! Every month, we’re bringing Scrapeboard to Wonderville on the first Tuesday of the month. Come through to play an arcade game that uses a real skateboard deck and metal floor pads as the controller. Challenge a boss rush where you perform combos using the skatedeck and floor pads to block sword attacks from Tony Hawk’s hardest hitters, including Kool Man, an alien, and a Nintendo Switch.

Scrapeboard is an arcade game started in 2018 by dank.game and @snakesandrews that has been to MAGFest, TooManyGames, DerpyCon, PlayNYC, GDC, and many other events. Make your mark on it at Wonderville 👾

Patch Sessions is a new concert series featuring members of Matthew Ryals' teaching studio. This afternoon edition at Wonderville showcases six artists across myriad styles — experimental music, left-field dance, noise, electro-acoustic, and improvised music. Instrumentation ranges from modular synthesizers and varied hardware synthesizer setups to a custom slime-mold instrument.

Ursa and the Major Key is an indie/psychedelic rock band from Plattsburgh, NY. The band fuses influences from classic artists including The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and The Band, as well as modern artists like Whitney, Beach Fossils, and Levitation Room.

They have built up an extensive show history in the Adirondacks and beyond over the past couple of years, performing in regional staple venues such as the Strand Center for the Arts, the Waterhole, Songs at Mirror Lake, and the Upper Jay Art Center, as well as sharing the stage with acts like Midnight North, Sam Greenfield, Adam Ezra Group, Klark Sound, Sugaray Rayford, and The Burkharts. They have also performed for an estimated 5,000 attendees at the City of Plattsburgh's total solar eclipse viewing party, which led to the band being featured in The New York Times.

Frances De Vargas is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her songs blend folk music, country, and alternative rock influences with a 21st-century indie rock tilt. With a pen that is playfully surrealistic but painfully realistic, transporting their audience somewhere sad, true and certain, De Vargas continues to craft a unique sound and dedicated community of folkies.

Formed in San José, CA, Voluntary Hazing is a moderately large and dorky ska/pop-punk band (although they occasionally stumble into disco, acoustic and other alternative sounds). The group began as friends in the San José State University marching band. Each member has been classically trained, but they decided to change things up and play rock music with their horns. Hey slime bag! Every month, we’re bringing Scrapeboard to Wonderville on the first (and sometimes second) Tuesday of the month. Come through to play an arcade game that uses a real skateboard deck and metal floor pads as the controller. Challenge a boss rush where you perform combos using the skatedeck and floor pads to block sword attacks from Tony Hawk’s hardest hitters, including Kool Man, an alien, and a Nintendo Switch.

Scrapeboard is an arcade game started in 2018 by dank.game and @snakesandrews that has been to MAGFest, TooManyGames, DerpyCon, PlayNYC, GDC, and many other events. Make your mark on it at Wonderville 👾

This is a comedy open mic hosted by Willa Tracy (@puke_skywalkerrr) and Zivan Vasquez (@zivan_vasquez). Performers will be challenged to compete for the audience's attention against the exceptionally entertaining Wonderville games. We will see who wins—man or machine!
