Aggressive Squirrels
Aggressive Squirrels started as a recording project of guitarist and singer Sean Lawson. He recorded and released the album “Ambient Screams” in August of 2021, which combines elements of post-punk, noise rock and indie rock to create a unique sound. Aggressive Squirrels is the live incarnation of this album, which will evolve and continually grow to encompass new sounds and influences from each of the members input.

Mojo Hand:
“Serving the song is what’s most important to us- that’s what we’re all about.” says Mojohand’s lead-singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter Elijah Klein. NJ/NYC based Americana-rockers Mojohand have been winning over audiences from Pittsburgh, PA to Austin, TX and everywhere in-between for over five years now, and there are no signs of slowing down for this road-hungry quartet.
Since the completion of Mojohand’s debut album, the band has been tirelessly workshopping new songs and taking them for a spin everywhere from the dive bars of New Orleans to the college basement venues of Philadelphia. It’s hard to know what the future holds, but it is easy to see what Mojohand’s looks like: more packing the car and driving insanity-inducing distances, more cranked amps, more packed rooms, more post-show handshakes and most importantly more serving the song.
The New Approach:
The New Approach started as an idea between two friends during the national pandemic as a way to escape and write new compositions. Day after day these two friends would chip away at tunes experimenting with Jazz, Rock, and improvised music. These sessions would become the original material for The New Approach. As time went on the band formed to become a quartet from Brooklyn with Dominick Gregoretti on guitar, Tong Cherd on bass, Nathan Nagatawa Lee on Saxophone, and Jackson Trout on drums.
The New Approach is slated to release a new performance video in September of 2022 and singles early next year.
The New Approach uses composition as a vehicle for long form improvisation on original material as well as covering tunes from the likes of John Scofield to Miles Davis. With an emphasis on groove and the blues as well as having deep harmonic content. The band musically navigates its way through unexpected areas within each song they play.
