Digitize yourself to death! No media lives forever! XFR Collective is coming to Wonderville for a pop-up tape digitization event. We will be setting up plenty of analog video and audio tape gear inside Wonderville's arcade space and be offering tape digitization transfers for the following formats: VHS, miniDV, Hi-8 and compact audio cassette. Anyone and everyone is welcome to bring in their non-copyrighted tapes and an external drive so they can easily take their new files home with them. Tapes will be digitized on a first come, first serve basis. In addition to tape digitization, we will also be screening tapes we've digitized from previous events and partners, offering zines, pins, shirts and totes and demonstrations of old analog television technology.

XFR Collective partners with artists, activists, and community organizations to lower the barriers to preserving at-risk audiovisual media – especially unseen, unheard, or marginalized works – through digitization, screenings, educational workshops, and pop-up events. Operating through a non-hierarchical model, we work to create an inclusive environment in which to explore practical methods for media preservation, archiving, and access. Our events are open to everyone!
