Josie Carr (Pretty Hybrid)
Josie Carr is a Brooklyn, NYC - born producer, performing artist, engineer and adjunct professor (electronic music production) at NYU, Clive Davis. It was in Brooklyn, where she honed her musical and technical skills, while geeking out on technology, producing, writing and performing her hip hop project "Wan'B Like Me" under Josie Carr and with her live electronic, Latin band; Josie Carr La GATA Negra. It was these experiences that helped shape her sound and style and today continue to help her challenge the idea of only using conventional tools for making music. You can find her in her recording studio or performing live with a large array of controllers and softwares mixed with live instruments, as these have been her tools since her early days in Brooklyn and now have become her trademark. When asked about her greatest influences, Josie’s response is always: “Too many to name and enough to keep me humble and always creating.”

Trovarsi
Trovarsi is a LA based live performer, DJ, and producer that brings new, darker sounds to the world of electronic music. With a hybrid blend of analogue synths, drum machines, modular, and Ableton, she builds a pulsing atmosphere to any set she plays.
Born in the heart of Wisconsin, she pursued the music and culture of the underground. Growing up, techno and house was always on rotation and prominent DJs of the 90s such as Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Frankie Knuckles, Cajmere, Felix da Housecat, Miss Kittin and last but definitely not least The Belleville Three are some of her influences and continue to be a source of inspiration in her music. Found today in LA clubs delivering everything from pounding, bassy techno to house music that is equal parts technical and melodic, she strives to push the boundaries of electronic music.
Using the technique of blending hardware incorporated into Ableton, Trovarsi creates a beautiful hybrid blend of analogue and digital sounds. She has experience from studying Ableton with prominent producers and Ableton's own trainers, and these skills are taken onto the stage when she performs. The use of electronic software/midi combined with the raw sounds of drum machines and modular synths are just what make her music so captivating. Trovarsi’s vision for electronic music today is shaped and expanded further by the influences of electronic artists Steffi, Rebekah and Lady Starlight. In recent years Trovarsi has proven to be a talented contributor to the LA music scene.
Trovarsi is also a member of FORWARD (an electronic musician duo) as well as the founder of Transduction Signal on Fnoob Techno Radio, which showcases global DJs/artists as well as up-and-coming electronic artists.
