Come out and test your roguelike skills with Spelunky by Derek Yu! We’ll be warming up with some normal runs before doing the Daily Challenge on the big screen. Everybody will get the same dungeon so watch and learn from other adventurers as we seek Olmec’s gold!

$5 to play on the big screen, free to watch!

Intrepid adventurers can win drink tickets! Anybody who reaches the Ice Caves on their Daily Challenge will be rewarded with a free drink. We’ll also have a list of challenges on our white board. First adventurer to do each one gets a drink and the glory of their name being on the board, so arrive early!

To provide some musical accompaniment we’ll have MARINEL playing music!
MARINEL is and Easton, PA based vinyl DJ blending from classic gems to modern sounds. Expect funk, world music, and deep house, with an occasional peppering of sub-genres like vaporwave and indie pop.

And since you should never do a Daily Challenge on an empty stomach, Jenn de la Vega will be selling food. Jenn de la Vega is editor-at-large of Put A Egg On It, author, community-oriented chef, and food stylist based in Greenpoint.

If you want to play the Daily Challenge you’ll need to own the game and bring your laptop (or sign into Steam on the computer here) so you can play on your own account.

We’ll also have controllers for some multiplayer runs, which anybody can join in on!
