ONE DAY ONLY: Self-Help, PotCell, Golder on 3.13

  • Wonderville 1186 Broadway Brooklyn, NY, 11221 United States (map)

Self-help is a group with a singular brand of indie pop rock. Their explosive energy and infectious grooves bring audiences to life with a performance that is highly engaging and a sound that’s hard to pin down. https://open.spotify.com/album/63IbJHpttefy5jEDzuLj3D?si=Bx-dHDcCRz68NRru6HFhmw

Powerhouse of The Cell began as a marketing experiment conducted by Keywrb Lab Group in the early 1990s. The goal was to create the illusion of a grassroots environmental movement through false flag TV and radio hijackings with music and visual art. While this project was ultimately defunded, there has recently been some documentation of the experiment resurfacing. https://open.spotify.com/album/7aR08Te6AyMA65H8rBMvNl?si=r203_ZqqREiG2yI2TVnTEA

Golder is a noise pop artist who combines deep indie roots with explosive contemporary production. He’s based in NYC and plays live with Taj Searles and Jesse Zalk. He recently released his new EP, I’m So Shallow When I Think of Death, which harnesses the glistening chaos he explored in his earlier work and playfully tackles themes of consumerism and mortality. https://open.spotify.com/album/11e3DbtUTbAv7IlhpveoEn?si=shJV7944TQu_DZn1EhHVJw
